Application for admission : A copy of the printed application form after completing the online application
Study period record table : A copy of the prescribed form from our university
List all elementary, middle, and high schools attended
Self introduction letter : A copy of the prescribed form from our university
High school graduation (prospective) certificate
- Those who have obtained an academic background from a country other than China
: A copy of certificate of graduation (prospective) with Apostille or consular confirmation.
Certificates not issued in Korean or English must be translated and confirmed by Apostille or consulate.
A certificate of graduation (expected) from high school in Korea does not need to be confirmed by Apostille
or consulate.
- Those with educational backgrounds in China
: A copy of certificate of graduation (prospective) with Apostille or consular confirmation
A copy of the Chinese secondary education report (English)
Transcript of all high school grades
- Those who have obtained an academic background from a country other than China
: A copy of transcript of all high school grades with Apostille or consular confirmation.
Certificates not issued in Korean or English must be translated and confirmed by Apostille or consulate.
No need to obtain an Apostille or consular confirmation when attending a high school in Korea
- Those with educational backgrounds in China
: A copy of transcript of all high school grades with Apostille or consular confirmation
HUIKAO transcript (Certificate of academic ability issued by [会考成绩表的认证] (English)Submit the original.)
Korean language proficiency documents
(Required)Medical, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy Applicant : Submit a copy of TOPIK level 5 or
Yonsei University Korean Language Institute (KLI) level 5 completion certificate
(Supplementary) Applicants other than Medical, Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy
Identification documents of applicants and parents
: A copy of each applicant's and parents' passports
Certificate of family relationship between applicant and parents
- Applicants who are not of Chinese nationality : One original copy of the applicant's birth certificate.
※ In addition to the birth certificate, a family relationship certificate or equivalent document confirming the
relationship between the applicant and parents can be submitted
- Chinese applicants
1. A notarized copy of proof of kinship (English)/亲属关系证明 公证本 (英文本) that can confirm the relationship
between the applicant and parents
2. A notarized copy of the applicant’s and parents’ family register (English)/居民户口簿 公证本 (英文本)
※ Submit all documents 1 and 2
Required documents for Korean foreigner
1. ‘Certificate of Family Relations’ in the applicant’s name, ‘certificate of expulsion’,
One copy of ‘Certificate of loss (renunciation) of nationality of applicant and parent’
(document proving that they do not hold Korean citizenship)
2. Proof document confirming the time of acquisition of foreign nationality of the applicant and parents
※ The receipt and report of loss of nationality (renunciation) will not be accepted.
※ ‘Certificate of Family Relations’ is a document based on the 「Act on Registration of Family Relations, Etc.」
after the abolition of 「Family Registration Act」 on January 1, 2008

Supplementary documents
You can submit middle school transcripts, awards, overseas high school standardized academic performance
evaluation data, various foreign language proficiency documents, qualifications, and school profile.

Documents proving the final academic background :
- Those who have obtained an academic background from a country other than China
Apostille or one copy of the graduation certificate confirmed by the Korean consulate in the country where
the school belongs or the consulate in Korea
- Those with educational backgrounds in China
One copy of the Chinese Ministry of Education’s academic background certification report (English)
Balance certificate :
1 copy of the account balance certificate in your name
- Base amount: USD 25,000 or more
- If it is impossible to submit a balance certificate in your name,
your parents’ account balance certificate (certificate of family relationship required) can be submitted.
- If the account balance certificate is not in Korean or English, a notarized Korean (English) translation must be
submitted.
- Submit the certificate issued within 30 days from the date of submission of the relevant documents.
- In the case of a certificate of deposit balance issued by a bank in China, the validity period of the certificate of
deposit balance as of the date of submission (e.g.Freeze period) must be at least 30 days left.
