Invitation

경희대학교 국제학부와 미국유엔협회가 주최하는 고등학생, 대학생 대상 모의유엔대회, Global Classrooms: Seoul 2010 Model United Nations Conference에 총명하고 열정적인 학생들을 초대합니다. 모의유엔대회는 유엔총회나 안전보장이사회와 같은 유엔회의의 의사규칙을 기반으로 삼아 학생들이 각 국가의 대표로서 국익을 대변하여 외교의 현장을 경험할 수 있는 행사입니다. 저희 Global Classrooms: Seoul 2010 은 모든 위원회가 영어로 진행되며, 약 400명의 고등학생과 대학생이 참가하여 협상과 토론능력을 겨루게 될 것입니다.

 

Benefits

1. 본 대회의 수상자에게는 외국에서 개최되는 Global Classrooms: New York 모의유엔대회에 참가할 수 있는 자격을 부여합니다.

   - 대상(Secretary General’s Award) 전액지원, 최우수대표상 (Best Delegate Award) 부분지원, 우수상(Honorable mention) 참가 지원자격

2. 모든 참가자들은 참가 증명서를 받게 됩니다.

3. 대회에서 우수한 성적을 거둔 학생은 경희대 국제학부 지원시 가산점을 부여합니다.

 

Registration Process

1차 등록기간: 2009년 11월 9일 ~ 11월 22일

2차 등록기간: 2009년 11월 23일 ~ 12월 7일

1) www.globalclassrooms.kr에 방문하여 온라인으로 등록해 주십시오.

2) 자세한 등록비 지불 절차는 www.globalclassrooms.kr에 공시 되어 있습니다.

3) 등록비: -Delegate: 180,000원(숙박비 포함)

The United Nations Associasion of the USA(UNA-USA) and Kyung Hee University is proud to invite you to Global Classrooms: Seoul 2010 Model United Nations Conference. This year's event will host about 400 students at Kyung Hee University Global Campus on January 6-8, 2010. The Global Classrooms conception of Model United Nations(MUN) is based firmly on the realistic portrayal of UN deliberations. Delegates will be expected to conduct extensive research on the agenda topics, the country that they are representing and the United Nations itself. In addition, students will be expected to faithfully represent their country's positions, as do actual delegates to the United Nations.
