Hanyang Univ. Foreign Student Admission Required Documents

 

First of all, required documents include an application form, 1 copy of academic background inquiry agreement,

 

1 copy of pledge, 1 copy of personal statement and 1 copy of study plan.

 

There is a copy of the retrospective (or retrospective) transcript or certificate (required for Chinese applicants who has it).

 

The personal statement and study plan must be written in English or Korean.

(If writing in other languages, translation need to be attached.)

 

 

 

 

 

The following is a high school graduation (enrollment/expected graduation) certificate, transcripts for all high school grades, and a copy of the applicant's and parents' passports.

 

High School Graduation Certificate / Transcript need to be verified by apostille or  Korean Consulate (Korean or English).

 

Passport is mandatory. If you do not have a passport, it can be replaced with an identification card (except driver's license) that can confirm your nationality.

 

If it is in a language other than English, a notarized English translation is required.

 

Applicants with Chinese nationality are required to submit a copy of their and their parents' IDs.

 

For holders only, submit a copy of your and your parents' passports.

The following are parents-child relationship certificate of applicant/parent, original bank statement, documents related to meeting Korean language proficiency standards, official English language proficiency score, university pledge to submitting works and works (limited to departments where work is required), documents proving loss of nationality (only for those who have given up Korean nationality are applicable).

 

Applicants of non-Chinese nationality must submit an original family relationship certificate or birth certificate.

(For languages ​​other than English, submit a certified copy of Korean or English translation)

 

Applicants of Chinese nationality must submit a notarized translation of the certificate of kinship (Korean or English),

 

It is mandatory to submit additional copies of the person and his/her parents' Hogubu.

 

Documents related to meeting the Korean language proficiency standards include TOPIK, Hanyang University International Education Center enrollment certificate or certificate of completion.

 

Applicants for the English Track are required to submit official English proficiency test scores.

(International Studies: TOEFL IBT 89 or higher, IELTS 6.5 or higher / Other English tracks: TOEFL IBT 80 or higher, IELTS 6.0 or higher
