Kyung Hee Univ. Foreign Student Admissions Required Documents
We’ll check the required documents based on the new students admissions of Kyung Hee University Foreigner
Admissions!
The required documents for the Kyung Hee University Foreigner Admission include an application for admission,
consent form for academic inquiry, confirmation of financial ability or scholarship submission, original bank statement,
personal statement and study plan.
If you are from a high school located in Korea, you do not need to submit a consent form for academic inquiry.
Applicants for the Korean track must write their personal statement and study plan in Korean and the English track
must be written in English.
Subsequent documents are a high school graduation (prospective) certificate and a transcript of 3 years of high
school.
These documents must be submitted with a notarized translation certified by a consular confirmation or Apostille.
If you do not submit the consular confirmation or Apostille certification within the application period, you will be
disqualified.
Lastly, let’s see the certificate of parent-child relationship issued by government agencies, documents proving
language proficiency, and documents related to applicants in the arts and sports fields.
The certificate of parent-child relationship includes copy of the applicant's passport, a copy of family register, birth
certificate, etc. (notarized translation).
In addition, a copy of the parent's passport or local identification card is required.
The materials corresponding to the proof of language proficiency are TOPIK level 3 or higher / Kyunghee University
Korean language test level 3 or higher / Kyunghee University language training institute Korean Intermediate 2 or
higher completion certificate.
If you are applying for the English track, you must submit one of proof language proficiency (TOEFL iBT 80,
IELTS 5.5, NEW TEPS 327 or TEPS 600 or higher).
If you are a citizen of a country where English is your native or official language, you do not need to submit
additional proof of language proficiency.
Those applying to the Department of Postmodern Music must submit a practical video USB, and those applying to
the Department of Taekwondo must submit a certificate of Taekwondo 2nd Dan or higher.
