Today let's take a look at the supporting documents for the Korea University Foreigner Admissions!

Korea University International Student Admissions-Documents to be submitted
First, we will check the required documents for the foreigner admissions at Korea University.
Required documents include copy of online admission, personal statement, attendance record, consent of collection and use of personal / identifiable information , photocopy of the passport information (photo) page of the applicant and parents, family register / relationship certificate, and proof of language proficiency.
A copy of online admission, personal statement, attendance record, consent of collection and use of personal / identifiable information must be filled out, printed, and submitted through the online application system.
All documents must be submitted in Korean or English. For other documents, a notarized translation must be submitted along with the original.

Required documents include a recommendation letter, certificate of attendance · official transcript · official graduation certificate of high/secondary school, proof of bank balance, portfolio and statement of verification for portfolio (applicable to Art & Design only), and optional documents.
Various high school certificates must be confirmed by Apostille or the Korean consul in the high school you were from.
Portfolio is applicable to Art & Design only.

For graduates of Chinese vocational/art high schools and international high schools,
Select and submit one of the documents below with a copy of the educational institution government
establishment certificate attached.
- Graduation certificate issued by the school (requires confirmation from the Chinese education authorities and the
Korean consulate in China)
- Graduation certificate issued by the Chinese education authorities. (must obtain verification of Korean consulte
in China)
Next, let's look at the required documents for relevant applicants.
International applicants with Korean ethnicity must submit official documents that prove the applicant and the
applicant's parent(s) no longer possess Korean citizenship.
Even if you have foreign citizenship and have never lived in Korea,
you must submit documents proving that you have given up or lost your Korean citizenship.
Adoptive families must submit an official document for adoption, documents indicating that the applicant
obtained a citizenship other than Korean before starting primary education (Grade 1), and proof of loss of
Korean citizenship.

All required documents (except the recommendation letters) must be uploaded on the online application
website (Uwayapply) by the designated deadline.
Only documents in PDF format can be uploaded and failure to do so will result in an incomplete and invalid
application.
The International Education Team must receive the original documents uploaded by the designated
deadline (September 8, 2022, Korea Standard Time).

Applications or an applicant's admission may be denied or revoked
if any of the submitted documents are found to be different from the uploaded documents.
You can submit maximum 10 items, and the items that can be submitted include official language proficiency test result (TOEFL iBT, IELTS Academic, HSK, JLPT..), standardized international admissions qualifications tests (ACT, A-level, AP, IB, SAT...), national certificate of technical qualifications, state certified qualification, documents issued during and by a high school/university: prize conferred by high school/university for activities carried out at high school/university.
