Korea University International Student Admissions Majors

 

 

 

 

 

First, let’s look at Korea University’s foreigner admission major.

 

You can check Korea University departments and majors in the above picture.

 

There is no limit on the number of applicants.

 

 

 

 

Korea University International Student Admissions Eligibility

 

 

 

Next, we will check eligibility for the Korea University foreigner admissions process.

 

Applicants for foreigner admission, both their parents and themselves have to be foreigners.

 

Applicants must be able to graduate from high school by February 2023 after completing all the courses.

You must also meet the nationality, academic background and language proficiency criteria below.

 

The nationality criterion is as of the date of application, and even one of the applicant's parents cannot apply

through the foreigner admission if they have dual citizenship with Korea.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Let' look at Korea University's academic background.

 

You must complete all the regular education courses equivalent to Korean elementary and secondary education (Grade 1-12) at home and abroad.

 

Domestic and foreign certification exams such as GED, home schooling, cyber learning, and language schools are not recognized as regular curriculum.

 

 

 

 

 

Next is language proficiency requirements for foreigners admission at Korea University.

 

You must meet at least one of the language proficiency qualifications in the table above.

 

- Korean

 

1) TOPIK grade holders

 

2) Korea University (Seoul Campus) Korean Language Center (KLC) regular course completion

 

3) Those who have completed the regular curriculum at a Korean language educational institution affiliated

with the domestic education internationalization competency accreditation system

 

-English

 

TOEFL iBT or IELTS Academic certified English proficiency holder

 

- Those who have fully completed the entire high school course (for Grades 10 - 12) in the Korean or

English curriculum

In case of TOPIK level 5-6, intensive Korean language education is exempted and there is no restriction on taking

major courses.

: 10 August 2022 (Wednesday) 10:00 ~ September 2nd (Friday) 17:00

 

Submission of documents

: 10 August 2022 (Wednesday) 10:00 ~ September 8 (Thursday) 17:00

 

Announcement of successful applicants: November 30, 2022 (Wednesday) 17:00

 

Successful applicant registration: January 2023 (to be announced later)
